Too many eggs yolks or whites

How many times does it happen to you to have egg whites left in your fridge? or egg yolks? And how many times did you ask yourself: how long can I keep them in my fridge? And what can I cook or bake with them? No more waste! Your solutions are right here!

You have understood it, today’s post will be different from the usual ones. No specific recipe (though I will mention a few), but a list that should give you answers to the questions previously asked. I give you savory or sweet recipes to use the remaining egg yolks or egg whites in your fridge. For the recipe already on the blog, you’ll just have to click on the name of the recipe, for the others you will have to get in touch with our good old friend Google!

But first, a few things about egg preservation.

You can keep your egg yolks in your fridge for 3 or 4 days without any problem. The only thing you have to know is that you should put some water on your eggs yolks so that they won’t dry. If you don’t do that, you’ll get a “crust” and your egg yolk will be of no use. If you don’t put water, just keep the egg yolk for 24 hours, no more. And if you did put water, please remove it before use…

You can keep your egg whites 2 to 3 weeks in your fridge. So no stress ! You will find a nice idea in the list below to use them… The egg whites can be freezed (the egg yolks can’t). To defrost them, place them the day before use in your fridge or let them at room temperature the day of use.

Now that this is clear, let’s move to the list!! I even put between parenthesis the number of yolks or whites necessary for each recipe. Am I not making your task super cool???
