Hello my friends!
Have you ever heard of this recipe? The invisible apple cake? If not you should try it without wasting any more time…
It is called “invisible” since the apples are cut in slices so thin that you barely see them after cooking. They almost melt into the batter…
Interested? Let’s see the recipe, Chef!
Invisible Apple Cake
Ingredients
- 6 apples
- 3 eggs
- 30 g olive oil
- 140 g milk
- 80 g sugar
- 10 g vanilla sugar
- 120 g flour
- 10 g baking powder
Instructions
Preheat your oven at 180 C / 355 F degrees.
Peel the apples, remove the center and cut them in thin slices with a mandolin.
Set aside in a large bowl.
In another bowl, beat the eggs with the milk, oil, sugars until foamy.
Add the flour and baking powder, combine until homogeneous.
Pour the batter on the apple slices and combine gently with a spatula.
Pour in a buttered mold.
Cook for 1 hour.
Check the cooking with the tip of a knife and keep on cooking, if necessary, for a few minutes.
Let cool down before unmolding.
