The yellow plums are delicious when just taken form the plum tree… It’s very good in a tart or in a crumble (really super super yummy!!).
But if you’re looking for a fresh and delicate dessert, you should go for my candied yellow plum cheesecake!
Hurry!
It is still possible to find yellow plums at your greengrocer. E-N-J-O-Y!!!! You are going to love it!
This dessert is really easy to make (15 minutes tops! I have no idea why I put 30 minutes in the recipe!!), it’s made in advance (you need 2 hours in the fridge before serving) so it’s perfect for a dinner with friends or family when you don’t want to spend all your time in the kitchen, and it is soooo good!!!
You can also make the recipe with other kind of plums. Still, choose a sweet variety.

The recipe, Chef!
Crush your graham crackers or Speculoos with a rolling pin until very fine crumbs form. Pour crumbs into a bowl and add the melted butter, and stir until well combined. Pour into 6 jars. Chill crust in your fridge. Mix the lime zest, lime juice, vanilla powder and 50 g of sugar. Add the cream cheese until smooth. Set aside in the fridge. Whip the cream in order to make a chantilly (without sugar !). And add it to the cream cheese mixture with a spatula. Pour the filling into the jars. Set aside in your fridge for 2 hours. Pour 50 g of water and 50 g of sugar in a frying pan. Keep at medium heat until it makes bubles. Add the destoned plums (cut in halves). Cook them 2 minutes then let them cool down on a plate. When it's time to serve, place 8 half plums in each jar. After cooking the plums, you will have a syrup. Keep it and brush your plums just before serving to make them shiny.Candied yellow Plum Cheesecake
