It’s still time to enjoy the wonderful flavors of juicy figs! So I had an idea…
And I made fig and smoked duck fillet skewers. It was soooo delish!!

Fig and smoked Duck Fillet Skewers
Ingredients
- 8 figs
- 10 g butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 slices gingerbread
- 16 mozzarella balls
- 16 slices of smoked duck fillet
- 16 coriander leaves
- Kosher salt
- Pepper
Instructions
Melt the butter in a frying pan.
Add the figs cut in half. Pour the honey.
Cook at medium heat for 5 minutes.
Cut your slices of gingerbread in 8 pieces each.
Place a piece of gingerbread on a wooden stick.
Add one mozzarella ball, a slice of smoked duck, a coriander leaf and a half fig.
Start over and make the remaining 15 skewers.
Spread kosher salt, pepper and serve!
