Trick or treat my friends!
Aww I love fall and all its traditions! Halloween baking is definitely one of them!
And today we’re making ghost cookies!
Let’s see the recipe, Chef!
Ghost Cookies for Halloween
Ingredients
- 200 g flour
- 50 g icing sugar
- 100 g ground almond
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 150 g butter at room temperature
- Jam or Nutella (80 g)
Instructions
Combine the flour, salt, ground almond, icing sugar and vanilla extract .
Add the butter and mix until you get a sandy mixture.
Add the egg.
Combine until homogeneous. Place the pastry in a food cling film and set aside in your fridge for at least 1 hour 1/2.
Preheat your oven at 175 degrees.
Spread the pastry, shape hearts with a cookie cutter, cut them in half and make 2 small holes for the eyes and a bigger one for the mouth of the ghost.
Place on a silicon mat or a food paper. Start over with the pastry cuts.
Bake 13 minutes and let cool down on a grid.
When your cookies are cold, fill with jam the "no hole" pieces. Spread icing sugar on the ones with holes.
Assemble the ghost cookies.
