Creamy Chicken with Munster Cheese
Ingredients
- 4 chicken fillets
- 20 g butter
- 1 shallot
- 200 g Paris mushrooms
- 100 g liquid cream
- 60 g Munster cheese
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
Stir fry the chicken fillets in a frying pan with the butter until golden brown.
Add salt and pepper to taste, cook one more minute and set aside in a plate.
Chop finely the shallot and cook it with the mushrooms cut in 4 in the same frying pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
Add the cream and Munster cheese cut in pieces. They will melt with the heat.
Place the chicken fillets back in the pan, cook at low heat with lid for 15 minutes.
Serve with traditional Alsatian spaetzles.
