Cheesy Green Asparagus Tartlets
Ingredients
- 16 green asparagus
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 4 square puff pastries
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp cream cheese
- 100 g brie cheese
- 4 quail eggs
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 220 C / 425 F degrees.
Drizzle 2 tbsp of olive oil in a dish. Add the trimmed asparagus, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and toss until covered in oil and salt.
Roast the asparagus for 5 minutes.
In the meantime, spread the mustard and cream cheese on each pastry.
Cut the brie in thin slices and add it to the pastries.
After the 5 minutes of cooking, keep the oven on at 220 C / 425 F degrees.
Layer 4 asparagus spears on top of each piece of cheese.
Bake the tarts for 10-12 minutes, or until the pastry has puffed up and the cheese is bubbling and golden brown around the edges.
Cook your quail eggs as you like them.
Add an egg on each tartlet and serve.
