Hello my friends!
You may have already a lot on your plate (or in your kitchen!) for your Easter meals. I’m suggesting a very easy dessert which may bring stars into your children’s eyes…
Here are my Easter crêpes!
Let’s see the recipe, Chef!
Easter Crêpes
Ingredients
- 500 g flour
- 2 tbsp of sugar
- 100 g butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 5 large eggs
- 1 l milk
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
- Oil for the frying pan
Instructions
Melt gently the butter in a pan.
In a large bowl or in your food processor bowl, pour the flour, salt and sugar.
Add the eggs and whip until you get an homogeneous mixture.
Add slowly the milk while still whipping. Be careful not to make any lumps at this stage!
Add the melted butter and whip.
Pour 1,5 ladles of batter in a bowl.
Add the cocoa and mix with a hand mixer until homogeneous.
Set aside both mixtures in the fridge for 1 hour.
After one hour, heat the frying pan with oil.
Pour the chocolate batter in a pouring bottle (or in a piping bag with a very thin nozzle), draw your Easter bunny, egg or chicken on the frying pan.
Pour a ladle of regular batter on top. Once golden underneath, flip the crepes over and cook some more.
